If you want to become a doctor and want to study at one of Central Asia's premier medical schools, the International Higher School of Medicine is the place to go. In 2003, the International Higher School of Medicine was founded. The main prerequisite for the school's establishment was a strategy of reforming Kyrgyz education and increasing the competitiveness of domestic universities.
